Teaching and Training

Dr. Tortora teaches and trains dance/movement therapists, infant mental health specialists and allied healthcare providers around the globe. In addition to developing and running the Ways of Seeing International Training Program, Dr. Tortora holds or has held faculty positions at many prestigious universities and training institutions around the world.

Ways of Seeing

In 2012, Dr. Tortora developed a two-year online international training program for post-graduate clinicians interested in becoming trained practitioners in her Ways of Seeing dyadic dance/movement therapy method called the Ways of Seeing International Training Program. She has graduated four cohorts of Ways of Seeing Practitioners and is currently accepting applicants for the program’s fifth cohort.
